Guidelines and Criteria

What we support

The Ramsay Foundation donates to educational projects wherever these can reach children most directly and encourage their active participation. This same principle applies to artistic and cultural endeavours. The Ramsay Foundation seeks to support projects which promise an efficient use of its funds. It often donates to smaller projects that are likely to show results for the funding they have requested. The board's decisions are based on the foundation's donating guidelines.

What we do not support

In order to avoid applications which are likely to be turned down, we list below what is excluded from donations:

• Individual scholarships
• Target groups over 20 years of age
• Repeated financing of ongoing projects
• Projects and events with commercial backgrounds
• Celebrations or one-time events without proof of sustaining effects
• Film, musical recording productions and digital projects.
• Large scale projects
